TK-8008 missed the memo
We’ve all been in the wrong place, at the wrong time at some point in our lives. Here’s TK’s moment. That’ll teach him for not checking his emails.
I mentioned last Friday that Leanne and I were thinking about going to Celebration VI for a single day. It would be pretty spontaneous if we did go. Anyone who is going have any ideas how we could make the most of one of the days?
Meanwhile, the following image (sent to me by John G) sums up my feelings toward Facebook’s new timeline layout that was FORCED upon me last week.
Leanne was the editor for the original Masters of the Universe comic reboot in 2003 and illustrated the Stratos origin story. She appeared on Sunday’s Masters Cast podcast as a guest and gave her thoughts on the new DC comics Master of the Universe comics as well as the Mattel Masters of the Universe Classics collectors line. For anyone interested, head over to Masters Cast to hear the episode.
My friend, Neil Baker, has created Threads of Mu, an online T-shirt / gift store featuring his ingenious graphic designs, largely Lovecraftian in nature, but some great General Zod shirts too. Neil is the genius behind another Star Wars parody comic called Turning to the Dork Side. If you like any of the gift items then be sure to buy one and support Threads of Mu on Facebook.
Aw, man. Are we going to find out what happened between Han and Leia? I was hoping to see the two of them sharing her cigarette.
Threepio crashed that party.
Bummer! Someone needs to melt that droid down already. Can’t believe he did that again. But those panels were great.
And you thought TK had bad timing. C3PO is the master.
Hell’s teeth, that was an unexpected plug. Thank you very much, Rod.
In other news, TKBOOB FTW.
Hey what an original concept for a shirt! 😉
Love the Shoggoth one!
We did discuss the lack of royalties didn’t we?
Is Tyson’s face public domain? What about Zod? Just be careful. You don’t want the death sentence in twelve systems.
Neil, you are as bad as John White!
How am I supposed to get rich off of other peoples hard work with an arrangement like that? 😉
If you make $1,000,000 off of it, can I at least get a comped shirt or two?
If you are coming down Saturday looks to be the best for diversity. There is something for every one.
Thursday is creator heavy, how to make droids and stuff like that
Friday looks to be featuring writers artists and Anthony Daniel’s one man show of how star wars is all about him LOL
Saturday is what I am looking for, History of Lego, Star Wars in 60 minutes, super secret panel, props and costumes, and Clone wars stuff.
Sunday is comic and collecting and some Indiana Jones stuff.
Staurday has the best mix, but what ever you do schedule an hour wait time before any and all panels and shows, they fill up fast!
Thanks for the info! Saturday was likely the only day we could do it. I’m most interested in the full size Rancor and Jabba props, as well as the mock sets for photo opportunities. Are you local?
I made the mistake of reading this one on Friday when I logged in to vote from the library. I got some very strange looks for my uncontrolled laughter.
Getting close to the top 10, gonna break sooner or later!
I don’t see how anyone could resist voting with that teaser panel there! Great scene in the movie and even better in BMS!
I love the “Behind the scenes” of Lando keeping Vader’s visit a secret.
