The voting incentive strip is back. 🙂
This weekend (Saturday and Sunday, September 8-9, 2012), Leanne and I will be at Baltimore Comic Con. I think this is our fifth or sixth year now at the show and this time we have created a nice big PVC tube stand for a new horizontal Blue Milk Special banner. The banner features Vader in his classic BMS “draw me like one of your French girls” poses. At the show you will be able to pick up the following great BMS pinup and many other prints of Leanne’s comic book and pop culture artwork…
The coolest item will be The Art of Leanne Hannah 2012 Sketchbook (pictured left) containing 32 interior pages of recent sketches. This is a nice way for readers to support Leanne and Blue Milk Special. If you can’t get to the show to pick up a copy in person, you will be able to purchase a copy online after the show. We will throw in one of the brand new glossy BMS promo cards for free. 🙂
We will be located in Artist Alley at table A96, listed in the convention program under Leanne Hannah (not Blue Milk Special this year). We don’t make as many appearances anymore, so if you are interested in getting a sketch, or simply meeting us in person, this is the place to do it. If you are not local, or unable to attend, then stay tuned for online availability of the sketch book.
My computer was taking a long time to load this, and with the pixelated resolution, panel 2 looked as if R2 was saying “Beep ‘POP’ Beer”. He does kind of look like a Keg with legs. 😉
Aw, Artoo, don’t be mean to Luke.
And to the voting incentive: lol!
I always thought about this scene from ESB myself. It was always funny how there’s this cut to a view port, where Luke is “reading” what R2 is saying, but on Dagobah, R2 “talks” to him and it seems Luke understands him. I guess R2 speak is like your dog, where you just make it up because it’s what you want him to say.
Wow, we’re getting to the final fight.
And the reveal…
Artoo Detoo can always be counted on to tell what he thinks even if it hurts!
I will be dressed as princess Leia. I am going to find your table first to say hi!
