Finally, we debut the long awaited Blue Milk Special Podcast. You can thank George Lucas for making this finally happen. Join your hosts– Rod Hannah, Leanne Hannah and Kevin Conn— as we delve into the making of BMS the webcomic, the world of Star Wars and beyond!
A big thank you to Jon Kallis of Masters Cast for his advice, and to Rosko Lewis for the use of his excellent Imperial March remix (check out his voice over work).
If you enjoy it, please do what you can to share the link back to the Podcast. We would welcome reviews as well. Anything listeners are willing to do, type or say. We hope to have episode #2 next week.

Which one is TK8008?
I guess it doesn’t matter, now that they are all clones anyway!
TK-8008 is the one that gets all the lines. ๐
They’re not all clones. clones are a minority amongst the stormies, and remaining clone-wars clones are a minority in that minority. palp was scared ppl would try to use a unified single-minded clone army against him the way he did against the jedi/rep, so he stopped using the jango fett dna, issued the military to train ordinary humans, and the few clones he did use were jsut clones of a random bunch of ppl. that way he could eliminate the possible threat of a brothers-like relationship between all troops. a tleast something like that according to the EU also says after the GCW the rebs/new rep destroyed most or all of the remaining few cloning facilities, making it so the remnant couldn’t get new clones, having to rely on normal troops, furthering making their general aim useless, more so than before…
In 1977 – I was 9 – I assumed they were robots!
I thought that after Han & Luke put on the armour there must have been two wrecked robots lying on the falcon stripped of their shells, all wires and flashing lights hanging out!
In retrospect – I can see how cool that idea was.
Hey shouldn’t the Podcast have been Episode IV, that way you could have eventually made 3 really crappy ones (I, II and III), after you re-dubbed this one and the next 2 with horrible unneeded extras.
You know Star Wars Tradition. ;=
Brilliant idea!
But could they ever really be crappy enough?
Can’t believe Rod’s accent. It’s like listening to the guy form ‘Flight of the Conchords’!
Strangely enough John; after meeting Rod, I now have no problem reading his comments, in his own voice.
You, on the other hand, remain in the voice of the Lucky of Lucky Charms Fame. “Everyones always trying to steal my Crayonoscope!”
Make that “me Crayonoscope”.
I don’t have a strong New Zealand accent… thanks largely to my mother being English. But I know I’m picking up a little American here and there. ๐
Like – totally.
PODCAST?!?! I’m finally hearing your voices! That alone is brilliant!
I’m listening to it right now in Ireland.
Rod, I could really imagine you narrating a wildlife documentary.
“The majestic Wampa of the Hoth Serengeti stalks its prey etc etc…”
We have to get on Skype ๐
Regarding the Jedi robes turning out to be what Ben Kenobi was wearing in Star Wars, as you guys mentioned in the podcast, I think the end of ROTJ established that, with ghost Anakin wearing exactly what ghost Ben was. I remember thinking that was weird at the time. Ben was wearing the Jedi uniform all the time? Not very undercover.
Leia makes a good point in today’s strip!
Good point Phil!
So they already got it wrong with the farmer outfit on Annakin in 1983 – or whenever.
John
Kevin Conn really made me smile on that Podcast:
“…and you can hear George is going, ‘Eh? Eh? Eh? Isn’t THIS what you want – eh?’ “
I’m downloading the podcast now. I can’t wait to listen. ๐
Hope you enjoy. We have a lot of things to improve upon between now and episode 2. ๐
Great Podcast!! Please do more! I still don’y know what think of the new disney Star Warses.
I guess it depends most on who’s going to be working on it, I guess.
We wanted to hold discussion of the new Star Wars films until Episode 2’s podcast. Hope to record that early this week. We had all sorts of technical issues recording the first episode and I had to extensively cut a lot of material where our voices overlapped due to internet lag. So, things will hopefully get better as we get more experience with each episode. ๐ I’ll be sure to share my opinion my clearly this time.
6:15; it’s Wicket!!

That’s the little bastard we were talking about! ๐
Enjoyed the podcast, looking forward to an Episode 2! ๐
