Backup Man
The idea in the actual scene in the book is that Wedge is supposed to be “too obvious” and Han’s REAL backup man is a throwaway rebel empath called “Page”. We thought Page was just too unimportant in the scheme of the story to bother with, so we stuck with the joke about Wedge being a little too conspicuous. At the same time, we couldn’t resist poking a little fun at the names of some Star Wars characters. I mean, this isn’t high brow literature. It’s Star Wars! 🙂
Leanne and I had fun at Keystone Comic Con in Philadelphia last weekend. Leanne helped light up the “Women Incorporated” Webtoons panel, and I know she’s proud to be part of the 60% which are female creators with this progressive comics company. I thought she did great on the panel and hopefully with our new comic close to debut you will see not just Leanne, but the two of us on some panels at shows in the next few months.
