Hey I Loved that show!!! A 70s Buddy Cop Show set in space… silly plots and all, I still loved it. At least they tried to make the Colonials a different culture. The new BSG is a simple mirror of our culture and political structure with a few of the old BSG names and expressions thrown in for flavor. That said, the new BSG is a far superior story. Just not the same story at all!
