A Logical Meeting
With all the Star Wars news over the last weekend, this strip might be a breath of fresh air to some. Having Mr. Spock and Avon in the same room was too great an opportunity to miss. I hope fans of both shows appreciate it. Star Trek and Blake’s 7 for those who are confused. See /?p=10248
I do promise we are just about to move on from the Rebel Briefing and will be cutting back to the Empire. So thanks for bearing with us if our crossover madness has worn your patience a little thin. Only one more piece of fun to go before we will show you what the Emperor has been up to. 😉
Thanks to those who have been helping us by purchasing some of our collectibles off eBay. We have a few more items listed now. Also, you can still donate via GoFundMe, Patreon, or purchase something from our store. More info on our plans coming soon. Watch this space.
it’s not THAT logical.
Big fan of the original Star Trek. Know all about Spock.
Have no idea who Kerr Avon is.
Love the strip, though. Keep up the great work.
Both characters are logicians… so it kind of is appropriate for them to at last meet, considering their “first mate” status in both series and emotional repression. 🙂
That’s quite the emotional outburst for these two! Very cool!
I have loved the crossover stuff, even though I don’t know a fair deal of the characters. 😉
Sigh, no such luck for a touching moment between artoo and the enterprise computer….hehe..he was a hacker before hacking was a thing…..ha.
I can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with Blake and his gang – are you planning on having any of the others in there too?
(Looks like season two outfits, where Avon started wearing a lot more grey and Jenna had that whole leather cat-suit thing going on.)
Yes, I’m a big Blake’s 7 fan and am very happy that you’ve decided to put Avon in, one of the most distinctive (and cruel) voices in British sci-fi.
I think it’s fun that you’re introducing so many characters from other sci-fi properties in these past few BMS strips. It shows your wealth of knowledge for the genre and helps us to find new series to check out. The circle is now complete.
There once was a Vulcan names Spock,
whom the girls all attempted to shock.
“Show Emotion” they cried,
till it welled up inside,
and he beat out their brains with a rock.
Author Unknown.
I hate to hate, but I feel like this briefing has been 5 months long. Surely the Death Star II has been completed by now.
You could always support us via Patreon. Without the supporters that we have, BMS wouldn’t even still be going at all. Then you’d really have a problem with the pacing.
Could be far worse, for something we’re getting for free. I remember in DBZ Goku’s spirit bomb on Namek took like 2 months of shows. 😛 If this were similar to movie pace, the whole comic would’ve ended years ago.
Love it!
OK, so I’m kind of clueless here–who is Kerr Avon?
I introduced him a few strips back. http://www.bluemilkspecial.com/?p=10248
