Aye yai yai!
Just a quick strip giving a nod to our guest stars from Power Rangers in Space: Zayne (the Silver Ranger) and Andros (the Red Ranger). Leanne re-introduced me to Power Rangers around 2001 and In Space was easily my favorite of the series. It is also the most appropriate series to crossover into Star Wars, in my opinion. And although the extent of the mass crossover will depend upon reader enthusiasm, we wanted to at least give them one strip of their own. So here it is!
So, anyway, it’s FREE COMIC BOOK DAY on Saturday (May 1st). Blue Milk Special has always been free, so in a way, this is a day to celebrate our work. If anyone is near Waldorf, Maryland, you can come and meet us at the House of Pop Culture. The House of Pop Culture will have 25% OFF everything and 30% if you pay with cash. They will have specially marked down merchandise, along with $1 books, and discounted Graphic Novels.
Leanne and I will be there to sign, draw, and accept criticism. We will also have goodies for sale that will help support our project. So please stop by, check out the wonderful House of Pop Culture and meet us.
Thanks to those who have been helping us by purchasing some of our collectibles off eBay. We have a few more items listed now. Also, you can still donate via GoFundMe, Patreon, or purchase something from our store. More info on our plans coming soon. Watch this space.
Great!
Now send in Jar Jar! 🙂
Yoda is one step ahead of you, Luke accidentally found Jar Jars body while attempting to lift the X-Wing. I remember because I popped some popcorn for the occasion!
Loving the Grammel call-back.
Thank you for doing what ALL Power Ranger fans have wanted to do since the 90’s.
Wishing you guys a great time on Saturday!
What hours will you be there? Maybe Kelsey and I can swing by and we can go out to eat afterwards.
I think 10am-6pm. We know a great Mexican Restaurant if you’re interested.
Sounds like a plan.
Finally PRIS gets it’s cameo strip. Yay! Zhane and Andros are awesome, though I should point out, they’ve never actually met Alpha 5 (I don’t think). Alpha 5 was the Alpha from MMPR to Turbo, but he was destroyed, along with the command center, in the season finale of Turbo. Alpha 6, who had a straight lightning bolt, a deeper voice, and “Yo Yo Yo” as a catchphrase (which was probably even more annoying than Alpha 5), was introduced along with the Astro Megaship in PRIS.
It’s not really a big deal, I was just in a pedantic mood this morning.
I checked with Leanne on the Aye Yi yi thing still being “In Space” and we both thought it was. I don’t think it matters, ultimately. Most people remember Aye yi yi, and Alpha 6 was still annoying.
I just wanted to tell you that your work is awesome ! I truly love, i discovered it a week or two ago and i’ve allready read everything. Now i will read everything again to wait.
Yay! We need more French readers! Thanks for the kind words.
A moment of silence for Alpha- that’s enough I think.
Cherry Capital Comic Con. The 501st out of Grand Rapids is going to be there.
NO ALPHA!! HOW DARE YOU?!!
