At the time of writing this blog, Leanne is still in LA and will be returning to the East Coast Monday night. A report about PowerCon/ThunderCon will likely follow on Friday. Meanwhile, BMS draws frighteningly close to the debut of a certain swamp dwelling Jedi master. Yoda’s look has not yet been decided and will be up to Leanne to finalize by this coming weekend. In the meantime, here’s a photo to go with today’s strip. If Chewie wears one it’s cool, right?

Hello Dagobah, goodbye Hoth. I am also looking forward to seeing BSM Space Slug, and also BSM Lando. At the moment all I can think of is BSM Lando as a black Biggs.
Re: Lando being a black Biggs, well we’ll just have to surprise you. There’s only so many things we can do with Lando, so it will be hard to surprise the readers, but we will always try to come up with something different. As of right now, I don’t have a strip in mind for the space slug. :-/
By the way, It’s BMS. 😉 Only pointing it out because this is the second comment I’ve seen it happen.. 🙂

The poor fellow’s face was in bits. I felt bad when I realised this after slightly poking fun, myself over at swa9.
I love the opening panel – such an unexpected gag! I never thought of Chewie’s Man-Bag before eithe. Arf arf. I also never thought it was the least bit odd as a child that Chewie had no pants. Oh, the innocence of youth. Gone now – sniff.
Don’t worry, I’m sure George will CGI those pants on for the eventual 3D Star Wars releases.

I wear a “man bag” myself; I find it difficult to believe that more people don’t use them. It holds all of my essentials, but I’m worried that it’s starting to carry more than what a woman would have. And to inject my take: Left Shoulder, Right Hip.

depends on what i’m doing. if i need access to it (retrieving wallet, etc) then yes left shoulder right hip. But if i’m in the middle of the woods, on a trail, etc then it’s right shoulder…
oh and anyone who wants one. i make ’em. :^)

A lot of the time we are living strip to strip. Seldom are we far enough ahead to have that luxury of time and planning. 🙂
I read/hear about cartoonists who are like months ahead of schedule.
I envy those people.
We have been a month ahead on several occasions, but most of the time we are little more than week or a few days ahead. We would definitely work harder at this if it wasn’t just a fan project. Our daily lives intrude quite often.
Bloody reality – it sucks. If you can call working in a job: reality – that is.
If reality involved a bigger dose of common sense and human decency then yes, my job is far removed.
