Death Star Inspection #1
Blue Milk Special in other languages…
This series of side-adventures following Grand Moff Tarkin were inspired, in part, by our love for Peter Cushing AND the comedic fan fiction The Diary of Grand Moff Tarkin by Richard Whettestone. It is quite brilliant and helps make Tarkin even more lovable. Of course, it helps if you’re a fan of Mr Cushing, as it goes without saying that the real Tarkin is a very cold piece of work. Thanks to our friend and fellow webcomic creator John White for the link. Why don’t you check out his Star Wars: Age 9 while you’re at it?
–EDIT–
Just so I can clear myself of coming across like some sort of dumbass by being caught out by fans willing to point out the name spelling differences between film, book and other media, we erred on the side of the Original Trilogy which credited “Motti” and “Taggi”, not Motte and Tagge. Why do we trust the film over the books and later material? Well duh! Because they are the films. When it comes to trivialities like this film should always be the canon which spin off media should be reconciled against. But then, that’s just my opinion I guess. 😉

“It’s where we keep the plot.”
I think I just snorted my chocolate bar!
Tarkin’s diary is funny. I hadn’t heard of it until you posted a link. Like the strip as well.
Bwaaaaa-ha-ha-haaaaa!! X D
A reference to The Diary of Grand Moff Tarkin and a slam to the constant tinkering and puttering the Original Trilogy has endured in the last several years.
I see he’s in his boots. Why do I get the feeling that we’re going to see when he finally switches from the boots to the slippers? X )
Glad you like it Karen. The Tarkin Flashback is currently 8 strips long with at least two more still to be completed. But there’s some stuff in there I think you might enjoy.
If it’s got Tarkin in it, it’s pretty much a lead-pipe cinch that I’m going to enjoy it. BMS has made me a Tarkin-loving fool and a major fan of Peter Cushing in general.
Can’t wait to see what other goodies the Dynamic Duo has come up with!
BRILLIANT ROD! Yes, when is he going over to the ‘Fluffy Side’?
Speaking of *Star Wars age 9* Webcomic: Kenny Baker autographed it not 4 hours ago today in Dublin!
Hey! Where are the bunny slippers?
Though, I imagine kicking one of those things with only slippers would hurt a bit.
That’d be a bit of a spoiler, huh? 😉
“It’s where we keep the plot”. Sheer awesome.
I never mind spelling too much but the mess of military ranks in the movies always bothered me.
