Snow Fight!
Check out the three BMS mascots sculpted by artist, Danielle Ellison. They will be making their public debut at Baltimore Comic Con this weekend (August 20-21). Stop by our table and see them for yourself. Also, please excuse the introduction of advertising on the site. As you know, we will not try to profit off the property of LucasFilm without a license, despite the many hit and run T-shirt companies that use Star Wars characters without permission. However, advertising is an indirect way of helping pay back our large website expenses after last month’s mini-disaster that put the strip on a three week hiatus and led to a redesign. We hope that if you see something being advertised, whether it’s Star Wars or a Webcomic, that you might click on one of the ads and check it out. The revenue made will help support the site and help assure the longevity of this fan project.
We have rebooted the favorite Blue Milk Special character poll a THIRD time due to the prior omission of Luke Skywalker. I also cut out a lot of the minor characters as there are only a limited number of voting options you can add using POLLCODE.
You can see Leanne and myself at Baltimore Comic Con (August 20-21), just two weeks away!!! I know most of you won’t be able to be there, but if you can make it you will find us in Artist Alley at the end of one of the rows facing the signing area (bottom right hand corner of the convention floor plan). Leanne and I will be doing BMS sketches, and Leanne will be doing sketches of non-BMS subjects as well. Credit cards will be accepted, so don’t worry if you don’t have the cash. Please spread the word about the show and our Artist Alley table #175.

Sunday Admission (8/21): $15.00
STAN LEE VIP Admission: $195.00
As always, kids 10 and under get in FREE!
I can’t help but read the generals voice in Conan O’Briens nerd voice.
This strip reminds me of the gradeschool playground snowball fights I had as a kid. Take out the one who’s not paying attention.
Once again, why didn’t I think of that?
Given the material, I foresee a joke about eating yellow. 😉
Still voting for Biggs 🙂
All wars should be decided with snowball fights. 🙂
As a web comic experiment, I think you should have this snow fight run as a weekly strip for at least a year. Bold? Yes! Revolutionary? Of course! Alienating? Probably. On second thoughts – ignore me.
Love the mini-figs – love the strip – love voting again for the old man.
So, is Veers wearing like goofy boxer shorts inside his personal vehicle, or is there some other sort of gag awaiting us? ’cause I get the feeling that you and Leanne are going to skewer him something fierce. X )
The new incentive strip is LOL funny. Old school BSG could be another great BMS-style comic.
“Baltimore…is semi-local for us” What…wait… and you’re going to Virginia Comicon, too? Eek…I live in between them. Dude, we’re neighbors…sort of.
Well, now that we know you live nearby we are going to move to California! J/K Hope to see you at the shows, Kyplor!
woo. Cali is awesome. Its just so expensive to live there 🙁
Haha! So true. Perhaps someday… when we’re fabulously rich…
Oh God, to be rich. And just spend your days working at your own creative projects.
That’s why I had to move back to Canada.
They better hope Darth Vader doesn’t join the snowball fight. That would be like getting into a water gun fight with someone and they grab the hose.
yet another strip of purest comic gold …..
Well, shiney. I’ll hopefully be at Baltimore Comic Con to meet you guys.
I see Mr. T getting a General Veers carton up and running real soon.
Already working on it, and a snow trooper, as well as some alternative Citrus Comics faces.
Any other requests? 🙂
Hah! How sweet of you, Dear One! Wel since you’re on “other requests”, there’s always Thundercats, and perhaps GI Joe. I see those as lucrative.
LOL! Love it!
The competition was fierce, but Blue Milk Special finally beat out the Blue Milk Beatle for Google ranking when Blue Milk is typed in. 🙂
I mean hey they have been around for millions of years to work on their P.R. 😉
On a lighter note check out the cute Admiral Sackbar puppet; http://star-wars.suvudu.com/2011/03/star-wars-craft-book-club-jades-craft-athlon.html/admiral_sackbar
It’s nice to know someone else is probably as bad as I am with paper craft.
OMG! that paper bag Ackbar is brilliant! But not as brilliant as the Milk Carton Ackbar you made here! T. Gatto is the best paper-crafter this side of the Outer Rim! I always feel dirty mentioning that…
Admiral Sackbar is adorable! I made little girl squee and wish to create one.
That’s awesome.
Rebel Snowball speeder, anyone? :3
Ha! I’m still going to the right hand side of the screen by reflex to vote for you on TWC!
Thanks for your votes!
That reminds me – thanks Rogue!
Cracking strip, glad to see you guys back.
Other than giant Gundam robot battles in specialised arenas I agree that all international conflicts should be resolved with massive snowball fights. But I should point out any throwing of yellow tainted snow is banned under the Geneva Convention on Icky Stuff (look it up)
It was great seeing you guys in Baltimore again. To everyone else, if you didn’t buy the BMS print, you are missing out, it is awesome…and if you like Harry Potter then Leanne made an awesome one for that too.
My son and I will be working on our “homework” sketch sometime this week. We will email it to you.
Looking at this, and considering a certain other movie that Veers did with Han…all I can think of is ‘He choose…poorly.’ 🙂
