Vader’s pod
It’s a new month and, as we work on the impending introduction of Yoda into the BMS cast, we have a couple of small scenes to get through first. Also, as the start of a new month, our rank on Top Web Comics resets and we want to remind you all to spare us a vote each day, if possible. To keep it fun, we’ve added another new voting incentive strip, this time with TK-8008 returning. We learn a little about what he was getting up to during the Battle of Hoth. In the coming weeks we will see more of TK 8008 and deliver on a promise.
Stay tuned for a further update to this blog either later today or tomorrow. Really pressured for time tonight. :-/
Bahaha! Love it!
One of Vader’s finest moments.
Okay, I blame a little bit of screen gunk that happened to hit in the upper left hand corner of the strip, but at first glance I thought it said “Vader’s Poo, Imperial Fleet.” Sorry.
So that’s what he does in there…
I just got an image in my head.. that Han will punch Lando when Lando’s appearance happens…. I won’t post it. ‘Cause what if I’m right?
Gack! Feel free to delete that! That tells you how tired I am. XD
Old gag but it’s still funny…
beautiful slapstick ….
Classic.
“And how can I drink my latte now?!?!?”
The incentive strip is a big win!!! I love it…
Both this and the incentive are great. For the prize comic, if Veers doesn’t survive, it’s not like he’s gonna use his mini walker anyway; I guess it’s a heated compartment then?
He’s slightly less intimidating that way, huh?
Somehow, in a nonspecific way, this reminded me of Spaceballs.
😉
Yeah, I was worried about that. It’s been a long time since I saw it but I do remember Rick Moranis having problems with the helmet. I changed the punchline so that Vader told Piett to ignore it and give him the report, but Leanne overruled it and wanted to keep it “Where did you go?”, which I thought was closer to something Spaceballs might have done. I don’t know if either dialogue would have been better, but fortunately the gag is primarily visual.
I dunno in Spaceballs, Dark Helmets mask slammed down, he crashed it into the camera, and really smashed if after leaving ludicris speed…i dont recall it ever getting turned around on him…especially with such cool batman-esque SPINNNNNNN sound effects
Regarding the regular strip;
Love it!
Regarding the incentive strip;
Love it!
I’m seeing a pattern here.
Yaaay! Another appearance of General Veers and his special brand of teh crazy!
Forgot to mention that in my previous comment.
I bet that did happen to Vader more than once.
SKIDOOSH and SPLUTHUNK!
Is there an award for the best sound effects in a comic strip?
Don’t forget a runner up prize for “SPINNNNNNNN”
LMAO. Love this one 🙂
Gah! Today I noticed that I’ve been missing every Thursday strip. Because I check the comic on Mondays, and you announced the two strips per week on a Thursday. Sneaky! (I liked the Wampa trap, and I suppose I may have liked C-3PO at least a little if that scene hadn’t been deleted. When I was young, C-3PO was my Jar-Jar. And I didn’t care much for R2-D2 either.)
It’s generally Monday and Friday, but depending on which timezone you live in I guess that can be a Thursday too. We can’t promise we will maintain two per week, but we should get through October with the current rate.
I don’t blame you about Threepio. He is one of the most annoying characters in the OT. Still, I’d happily take him over almost any character in the PT.
I like 3PO in the original movies, yeah I said it.
I think Vader should keep the helmet like that for the REST OF THE SERIES! Someone can draw a face on with a magic marker. OK never mind.
Someone mentioned it before I guess, but still. I came here by clicking on the ad at topwebcomics.com. Seriously the smexy pose of Vader interested me more than Leia sexy pose lol. Any ways this webcomic is really interesting and is now one of my most read webcomics. Hope you keep on creating more smexy strips. :3
You guys should do a comic in honor of Steve Jobs. Poor guy died today. 56 years old is TOO YOUNG. 🙁
