Waste of Time
Sha-bang! And that’s the Story of the Faithful Wookiee, which is, to my knowledge, the first full length parody of the Star Was Holiday Special’s animated segment. As mentioned yesterday, Leanne and I will be putting the strip on a one week hiatus as we focus on other projects and try to get caught up. When we return we will begin the Holiday Special proper. Estimated to be about 30 strips in length it will take us through July and early August, leading right into Splinter of the Mind’s Eye. You can expect to see the glittering Bea Arthur, the growling Bacca family, musical guests AND the return of your favorite characters like Darth Vader and retarded Stormtroopers. Don’t worry if you thought the Holiday Special was camp and boring, Blue Milk Special will be your antidote. We’re going to liven up the Holiday Special and, as Ricky Gervais might say, “rip the piss out of it”. * Insert Yoda voice * “So eloquent, we are.”
Until then, hang in there, keep voting and spreading the word, and keep drinking blue!

Wow, all that for nothing.
Wouldn’t that SUCK?
I cant wait to see how you handle the holoporn or whatever that was grampa Chewie watches.
Ha ha – good closer. “Screw this” – I love it. Good timing.
Come on!!! Why do you have to make fun of the “retarded Stormtroopers”??!!! We have feelings to you know!!!!!
Sweet ending. Looking forward to what you guys come up with next
The smile on Chewie’s face, in the last pannel, makes the strip.
See ya in a week!!!!!!!
It must have been hard trying to make fun of this segment seeing as it’s already so ridiculous in itself, you guys did a good job though. Keep up the good work!
darn…all caught up and eagerly awaiting the next installment…keep up the good work you two! it doesn’t get any better than this!! oh, and for any nay sayers out there…I have this to say…”The Emperor is not as forgiving as I am.”
I hope the Hannah’s are enjoying their break while we all sit here, lonely, starved and leafing through the phone book for addiction therapists.
I was bought the Robot Chicken and Family Guy SW DVDs for Father’s Day yesterday. I actually saw FG’s ‘Blue Harvest’ for the first time last night! The sofa jokes were bloody hilarious. “Who would throw away a perfectly good sofa?” That hunour really connects!
On a ship, the toilet is called a “head.”
Quite the guest stars on that Christmas special – Harvey Corman, Bea Arthur, Jefferson Starship. . . I seem to vaguely remember actually watching this when it was on TV, all those years ago
