We would be honored if you would join us!
Check out Neil Baker’s “Tales From The Diner”
Neil says: “I am a big fan of the ‘Tales from Mos Eisley Cantina’ and Tales from Jabba’s Palace’ books, and a few years ago I prompted a little fan-fic exercise based on Dex’s Diner from Attack of the Clones Basically, I wanted a location with some characters in the background so that their stories could be told. I received a few subs and put them together on a blog.” You can discuss Tales From the Diner over on our BMS Forum here. Sign up and join the discussion!
Leanne and I wish we were able to be at Celebration VI this (edit “next”) weekend. For all those who are going to be there, say hi to Josh (Blackhole Stormtrooper) and Smoking Jawa (Paul). They are covering for us and giving our BMS promo cards for free. The last ones! Both Josh and Paul are honorary BMS team members as far as I’m concerned (we’ll have to come up with some sort of ceremony). They are also members of the 501st Legion and Rebel Legion charity cosplaying organizations. The show itself looks like it will be amazing! Garrick Hagon (Biggs Darklighter) will be there, along with less important actors like Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. Roxy the Rancor and Jabba the Hutt are among the awesome props at the event, along with many set pieces. It will probably be a great memory for all who attend. Have fun and let us know what we missed!
Vader’s always with that mug…
Wonderful sound effects.
I had to hear Han’s blaster in my head while reading the strip.
BIGGS will be there, and I cant! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
At least I can go home and look at my Biggs sketch, while I sulk. š
@Misha: Vader with his coffee mug always reminds me of Bill Lumbergh from “Office Space”.
“Hello Luke, whats happening? I’m gonna need you to turn to the Dark Side, so if you could do that, that would be great… I almost forgot, ah, I’m also gonna need you give in to your hatred right now, ‘kay? We, ah, lost some people this week and, ah, we sorta need to play catch up. Yeaaaaaah…”
Hold on, CVI is next weekend, Aug 23-26 don’t scare me like that! I just about had a heart attack…
Sounds like you both aren’t going to make it down. š If you don’t mind camping in my living room you can stay with me! I’ll even put up a tent up so you have some privacy… I will even drive you both around while your here. (can Leanne fit in a Booster seat? These things are so hard to get installed I don’t know if I can take it out! LOL)
I’ll even talk the wiffy into making some homemade Gumbo! The networking opportunity alone would be worth the trip and maybe you could write it all off as a business expense?
Thanks for the correction. I have been following the Jabba the Hutt and Roxy Rancor projects for Celebration VI and all the recent activity gave me the impression that it was this weekend! We still won’t be able to make it. Health and financial reasons. It would be more effective to have set up as an exhibitor or artist at the show. Maybe, if there is another Celebration in the future, we might be there. We appreciate the hospitality though!
Next time I will be running a IndieGoGo campaign to get you set up at Celebration VII. You both really need to be in the artist alley.
I’ll be attending Celebration VI next weekend. I went to the last one a couple years ago, and it was amazing! Can’t wait!
Why does Darth only have two fingers in the third panel? Again, Funny as always! Thanks for taking the time to administrate this awesome webcomic! You’re #13 on TopWebComics.com btw!
The helmet obscured the third finger which is positioned closely to the middle finger.
Thanks once again for the shout out.
Folks should really get over to the forums for a chin-wag, it’s like Echo Station over there at the moment.
It’d be great if you met Garrick Hagon himself!
I did tell him about BMS when I met him last year.
