Weird Eye-Patch Guy
Major Orimaarko, or Prune Face, or as we call him, “Weird Eye-Patch Guy” has got to be the creepiest looking S.O.B. in the Star Wars trilogy. He makes the Emperor look like a sparkly pony. There seem to be three of his kind in the Rebel briefing scene, although we went with the eye-patch toting version as the most interesting and disturbing of the group. I hope you all have nightmares. You’re welcome.
Leanne and myself recently gave a big interview which was just published online. Phil Custodio, author of Living Room Wars, is co-editor of the geek culture website I Must Be Hallucinating.com and wanted to know a little about Blue Milk Special, our favorite strips, our thoughts on Star Wars, fans and our projects. You can read the full interview here: http://imustbehallucinating.com/wordpress/?p=3996
Thanks, Phil! You’re a true Blue Milker!
Aw, poor Major Panno. I’m sure he’s a sensitive guy underneath all of that… eyepatch.
That’s not Panno, but Orrimaarko. Panno is the Dressellian with the gray cloak.
Fixed. Thanks.
Eek, now I have to dig out my action figure, to see if it is as freaky.
I wonder if he is friends with Snake Plissken, and Nick Fury?
Leia looks scared, or maybe she’s laughing. I don’t think Han cares either way.
Thanks for the interview — it was fun putting together!
He’s here to change the toner…
Yeah, I flashed on Robot Chicken there.
Hopefully we can give you guys OUR take on Weird Eye-Patch Guy. I’m getting bombarded with Robot Chicken comments, which is nice. But we’re not Robot Chicken. 😀
I always wondered if those were originally intended to be Bothans.
Perhaps a Bothan, after a bizarre electolosis accident?
I honestly never noticed those guys before! O.o
He looks like Pirate E.T.! How messed up is that?!?
wow… I honestly don’t remember this guy at all! I have to go back now and investigate…
He looks scarier/creepier in her drawing than in the photo below, great work!
I have to say he looks like my next door neighbour
Well, after I read the blog, his name is now stuck in my head as “Weird Eye, Patch Guy” just thanks to how the spacing worked.
Well, I guess there is worse things to be known as than “Weird Eye”
