What Luke really saw
<--- The story of our weekend can be found in the newest voting incentive strip, which took about 12 hours combined between Leanne and myself to complete, although it did include new character artwork that will make the next few strips a lot easier. Introducing a new character is a heck of a way to kick off the new month of TopWebComics voting. We held 20th place last month, quite an achievement! Thank you.
BMS was interviewed on May 31st by Robert J. Baden for FanBoyComics.net. Blue Milk and Cookies: An Interview with Rod and Leanne Hannah.
I think I came across really boring! I promise to be more interesting in future interviews if anyone is interested in interviewing Leanne and myself about BMS, or … I don’t know, the weather on Bespin? 😉 Seriously though, thank you to Robert and FanBoyComics.net for being so cool to us!
I should mention that our friend, Kevin Conn (who contributed the idea for the 2-1B Medical Droid strip a while back) has just launched his new comedy web series I HATE EARTH.
Kevin is one of those rare creative talents who deserves to get noticed by a studio or network and given the opportunity to spread his wings. With I HATE EARTH Kevin has reached, as far as I’m concerned, the pinnacle of his work so far. We’ve been supporting Kevin’s work for several years, and I really hope that this may be his ticket. Each episode is short and sweet, and chronicles moments in the life of the hero Dirk Dogstar and the villain, Beatrix Skullo who have been transported to Earth where they must share an apartment and learn to understand one another… or not!
Here’s the first episode (another is coming later this week!).
Don’t forget to check out the offical I HATE EARTH website where you can see the I HATE EARTH opening sequence (with the vocal talents of another friend of ours, Jon Kallis) and keep track of news and the latest episodes.
If you enjoy IHE, please share it and help Kevin get his work out there. Kevin has been there for us when we’ve needed him. He’s a great guy (and yeah, he actually does have skin on his face, that was just a mask).
Remember, if you donate and leave the message “Blue Milk Special” you will get an exclusive BMS strip featuring Darth Vader and IG-88! You’ll also get our respect.
This week’s strip? X D
Next week’s? I won’t give anything away, but bahahahahaha!!!!
Aw c’mon – draw it 🙂
Great strip this week (and next), and a nice shout out for Kevin – he’s a witty bugger.
Actually, the mask is real. I’m like Darkman, only not as cool. AKA: NOT Liam Neeson :/ Thank you both, as always! 🙂
Oh my. Excellent all the way around. This is so exciting!
Looks like Han and Leia are getting started on the family the EU thoughtfully provided them with, before horribly mutating it over the years into the horrible monstrosity it is today.
Bespin’s looking good!
The Sith could probably bankroll their expenses through psychic Blackmail.
To bad the Jedi probably have rules against that sort of stuff. 😉
