Xizor’s other plans…
Hey, great news! You can now read Blue Milk Special on your Android powered device via Comic Rocket! But more on that in a moment…
If you’re not familiar with Shadows of the Empire, then you are probably not aware of the direction the story is suddenly death spiraling toward. Just how bad it gets will be illustrated, literally, over the next few strips. We are almost at the end of Shadows of the Empire. Take that small comfort.
Now, in case you’re wondering why Leia has come to see Xizor, here’s the recap.
Someone tried to kill Luke and make it look like Darth Vader was responsible. The real mastermind was Xizor, trying to discredit Vader (because the Emperor wants Luke alive… so does Vader, but for different reasons). By making Vader look disobedient, Xizor thinks he will be able to take the position of being the Emperor’s right hand, or at least benefit in some blah blah blah way. Anyway, Leia suspected something was up and decided to do some research. That research led her to the criminal organization Black Sun, which Xizor runs. And here she is, standing before him, hoping to learn the truth about who is trying to kill Luke. But, as today’s strip reveals, something is stirring in Xizor’s loins and distracting him from his stupid scheme. Xizor has the unusual power to artificially seduce women by releasing powerful pheromones (it’s a whole new spin on forced mating). An ability that definitely has no place in Star Wars, or family-fare. But more on that when we get to it.
Now, how about not only making reading Blue Milk Special easier on your phone, but discovering other cool webcomics in the process? Simple go to the PlayStore and search for Comic Rocket. It’s free.
With the app, you can read one strip at a time by swiping your thumb from right-to-left, like turning a page. In fact, you can read in either direction with a the swipe of a thumb and whether you close the app, or switch to read another comic, it remembers which strip you were up to. But the coolest thing about the app is that you can find other webcomics much more easily now and discover other creators who have much better works than our own. Comic Rocket not only makes reading comics on your phone easier, but more enjoyable and accessible.
It’s all thanks to Comic Rocket‘s successful indiegogo campaign which helped them launch their webcomic reader app (the iOS version for iPhones should follow in the next couple of months).
Like InkOutBreak, Comic Rocket tracks webcomics, offering readers a way to browse comics on their computer as well. So there’s no reason for you to stay on the periphery of webcomic reading any longer with such a great way to discover others based on the genres of your interest, and easily navigate between your favorites without losing your place. Make sure you check out Phil Custodio’s Living Room Wars as well with both the Comic Rocket website and the app. It makes reading the strips more manageable for the user and its a great way to support your favorite webcomic by giving it a thumbs up, or like.
If you have ever had a hard time keeping up-to-date with a webcomic because you miss updates, both the Comic Rocket website and the android app are a great solution! It’s been four and a half years, but BMS can be read easily on a smart phone at long last!
I can’t even begin to tell you folks how much I adore your work! Keep on keeping on!
Man, now I really want to read Shadows of the Empire. Until now I’ve only played the Nintendo game. 😉
YESSSSS… same me. … but I willl start with the “official” comic book. It is a little bit easy.
Comic Rocket’s very cool. I love the save-your-place feature on these things.
Living Room Wars on the list with Blue Milk Special? That’s awesome!
BMS carton Yoda bows out of his appearance in LRW in tomorrow’s edition, for now. But not without a few more words of wisdom.
Someone get a hose for Xizor!
Thank you for your continued hilarity and now your running dialogue on the utter dumb of Shadows of the Empire. It makes what was awful slightly endearing. Keep drinking the blue milk!
Does Xizor really think he can outscheme the Emperor?!
The man waged an intersteller war on both sides (ok all 3 sides) just so he would win, no matter who won…
As for Vader, he could probably de-populate several planets the Black Sun has strongholds on, and say he had reason to believe there was a rebal or two on them. I don’t think the Emperor would really care…
Xizor is a Jackass!!!
Aren’t shitzors pheromones basically rohypnol ? Not exactly age appropriate is it? Slipping someone a roofie sounds more grand theft auto than shadows of the empire….
It’s a tough one. It’s not rohypnol because I believe that just robs the victim of the ability to resist. Xizor’s power makes the victim want it from him. But since their desire is created artificially by his drugging pheromones it’s basically rape in my book. But a type of rape that tricks the brain of the victim into volunteering themselves for it… so that they don’t realize they were raped. It’s really WEIRD stuff for Star Wars to touch.
Yep. This pheromone thing clearly was missed by quality control. I remember the scene from the comic adaption and the WTF experience. Storywise, it was incredibly stupid for a criminal mastermind to try such a stunt. It clearly takes away the “mastermind” and only leaves “criminal”. Blatantly stupid criminal.
Like shooting yourself in the foot… with your penis!
LOL! Best comment in a long time, Vosla. Laughed out loud.
Wow …. Easy on the rape you know she wants it lol her man is in a block of carbonite. Looking forward to just how wrong this will go. Leia in a teddy…. I’m sure it isn’t as revealing as the slave outfit
Thanks for the tip on Comic Rocket. Kinda cool to have all the comics I follow in one place. Although, it seems they lag a few strips behind whatever’s currently on the site for s couple of the comics.
I had to ask the guy who runs Comic Rocket to re-index Blue Milk Special, since the most up-to-date strip they were showing was from early June. Therefore, there may be some issues with the way they index. Let me know if you notice discrepancies between what is on our website, and what strips show up via Comic Rocket. However, I think we’re up-to-date. I just hope that other webcomics don’t suffer the same problems. Thanks!
Just for crappy stuff like that “forced mating” I am so glad this is no longer canon. Thanks Disney.
